More Than Maps, ist eine neue Serie aus dem Hause Google, die die Arbeit von Entwicklern rundum die Google Maps API unterstreicht.
Die Wege sind vielfältig. So nutzt man die Schnittstelle um beispielsweise Unternehmen zu gründen, die den Umweltschutz vorantreiben oder die die infrastrukturelle Entwicklung ihres Landes verbessern wollen. More Than a Map – Computerlogy
Google Developers: In Bangkok, Thailand we met with the co-founder of Computerlogy, Vachara Aemavat. Computerlogy is a Google Maps API development shop. Among their many great projects, they have built a great store locator for Siam Commercial Bank and a viral maps app that helps people find high ground during the Thai flood seasons.
More Than a Map – Ubilabs
Google Developers: In Hamburg, Germany we met with certified Google Maps API development partner Ubilabs. Ubilabs founders Michael Pletziger and Martin Kleppe showed us some of the Google Maps API driven projects they have built for Germany’s largest brands such as Deutsche Telekom, Blitzer.de, and BMW.

Google Developers: In Nairobi, Kenya, we met with Mark de Blois and Bernadette Ndege. Upande has created a variety of geospatial solutions using Google Maps and Earth for a diverse range of business clients, UN organizations, Government, Non-Governmental Organizations and the public sector. Upande project Virtual Kenya is an online geospatial platform to visualize and share data about Kenya.

Google Developers: In Sao Paulo, we met with Kekanto co-founder, Allan Kajimoto. Kekanto is a popular ratings and recommendations startup based in Sao Paulo that serves all of Latin America. Kekanto is one of the hottest new startups in Latin America.
More Than a Map – Get Flight
Google Developers: In Sydney, Australia, We met up with GetFlight founder Ian Cummings at the Fishburners coworking space. GetFlight is airfare search site based that uses the Google Maps API to help users discover cheap airfare to great destinations.
